Large Tile Key Arts
The Large Tiles are variants of the standard 16:9 Tray tiles that enable more robust storytelling and promotion of top content within the experience. Each of these Key Art cards lead to curated titles within the specified theme.
These collection tiles create a new opportunity for content discovery while adding depth and variety
to the User Interface experience.
Design Pillars
The collection tile design guideline has seven pillars that will help create cohesive branding and scalable designs.
During the last two years, I had the privilege of creating some key artworks.
To heighten user anticipation for upcoming releases, I spearheaded the creation of dynamic "1-Up" cards. These multi-purpose elements serve as countdowns and thrilling notifications strategically placed across our app, website, and email campaigns. For example, for the movie Malignant, I meticulously researched the full trailer and incorporated textures that mirrored the film's dark aesthetic. This wasn't just a countdown; I aimed to tell a mini-story. The layered textures hinted at a lurking monster, while the typography played with shadows and negative space, creating a sense of unease. This approach successfully added a layer of anticipation to the user experience, building excitement for the film's release.
